Data Deletion Request

In accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and Meta's platform requirements, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from ZapClaw.
What Data We Store
When you use ZapClaw, we may store the following data associated with your account:
- Account information (company name, email, hashed password)
- WhatsApp Business Account data (WABA ID, phone number ID, encrypted access token)
- Message history (inbound and outbound messages routed through ZapClaw)
- Webhook configuration and delivery logs
- API keys (stored as hashed values)
- Message template data synced from Meta
How to Request Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your data, send an email to contato@zapclaw.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your ZapClaw account
- Your company name
- Whether you want a full account deletion or partial data deletion (specify which data)
Processing Timeline
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Data deletion will be completed within 15 business days of confirmation.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
What Happens After Deletion
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems.
- WhatsApp Business API access tokens will be revoked and deleted.
- Message history and webhook logs will be permanently erased.
- This action is irreversible — deleted data cannot be recovered.
- Some data may be retained if required by law (e.g., financial records for tax compliance).
Automatic Deletion
If you cancel your ZapClaw account, your data will be automatically retained for 30 days for recovery purposes. After this period, all data is permanently deleted.
